The Clark Sisters biopic was set to air on Lifetime in January 2020, but the release date has now been pushed back. Reports say the biopic is now set to be released on Easter.
The movie will tell the story of the legendary Clark Sisters and their mother Mattie Moss Clark. Reports say that not only will we learn all about the five sisters, but also their struggles and their rise to fame.
Kierra Sheard will be playing the role of her mother Karen Clark-Sheard and alongside Kierra are some powerhouse vocalists. Christina M. Bell will be playing Twinkie Clark, Sheléa Frazier is playing Dorinda Clark-Cole, Angela Birchett will play Jacky Clark-Chisholm and actress Raven Goodwin will be playing Denise Clark-Bradford.
Donald Lawrence is the movie's gospel music's director and Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott got together to produce the film.
