Over the years, we've been able to enjoy a load of iconic television shows that cater to the African-American community. Almost every episode of our favorite shows either taught us a valuable lesson or had us weak from laughter.

No matter the reason, a major part of a lot of these shows' success is the family value encouraged in them. A strong patriarch role, specifically, was the most attractive aspect. That's why, in honor of Father's Day, we're listing some of the most iconic TV father's to date along with our favorite "dad-ish" moments that brought the family together.
