Colin Kaepernick is still eyeing an NFL return.

According to TMZ, Nessa Diab, Kaepernick’s longtime partner, said the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback continues to train for an NFL comeback “every day.”

"All day, every day!" Diab, who welcomed a baby girl with Kaepernick in 2022, said of his training. "Nothing has changed! Nothing!"

Diab's comments come ahead of Thursday's (April 24) NFL draft. Several teams are still without a quarterback heading into the 2025 season.

Kaepernick last played in the NFL in 2016 following controversy over his kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality. The quarterback’s last NFL workout came in 2022 with the Las Vegas Raiders. Before that, Kaepernick was invited to work out with the Seattle Seahawks in 2020.

The former NFL star also organized a workout at an Atlanta high school, which was attended by several scouts from the league. Last year, Kaepernick reportedly declined an offer from his former head coach, Jim Harbaugh, and the Los Angeles Chargers to return to the NFL as a coach.
