The Queen of Pop, Madonna, celebrates 4 decades at the top of the charts with The Celebration Tour hitting multiple cities and countries throughout 2023.

The undisputed Queen of Pop, Madonna, is celebrating four decades at the top of the charts with the announcement of The Celebration Tour. The trek will hit 32 cities over 37 dates - for now - beginning in Canada July 15th and then traveling through the West Coast of the United States before wrapping up in Amsterdam December 1st 2023. There are a number of holes in the calendar and a number of glaring countries that have been left out, which will most likely be filled with more dates in arena's and stadiums.

Having released Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones a few months ago (the Amazon exclusive Red vinyl is incredible), which collected 50 of her 52 #1 Billboard Dance hits, Madonna may have been in her feels looking back at her incredible career.

Additionally, the last year has brought Madonna a number of huge viral TikTok hits from some of her previous smash hit singles including Frozen (Madonna v Sickick Remix), Material Gworl (with Saucy Santana), Hung Up (on Tokischa) & even the demo of Back That Up To The Beat. All of these TikTok viral hits have kept Madonna in the spotlight despite not having released an album since 2019's incredible Madame X.

The Celebration Tour was announced via a YouTube video that features Madonna in a game of Truth Or Dare (a la her seminal 1991 documentary also called Truth or Dare) with Diplo, Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Judd Apatow, Lil' Wayne, Kate Berlin, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Eric Andre and Bob The Drag Queen. Bob The Drag Queen will open every show on the tour with the rest of the gang serving as support at various dates on the tour.

  • In a statement, Madonna said "I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for".
While Madonna's tours typically are heavy on the current album out at that time, this is the first time Madonna is doing a "Greatest Hits" style show, despite being the highest grossing female touring artist with over $1.5 billion in tour receipts. With 12 #1 hits, 38 Top 10 hits & 52 Billboard #1 Dance hits, Madonna has more #1's on Billboard than any artist ever. She is bound to play some of her biggest hits including Material Girl, Take A Bow, Like A Virgin, Music, Vogue and Hung Up. The hardest part will be trying to cull down 50 #1 hits into a 25-ish song setlist.
