The National Toy Hall of Fame has officially announced its class of 2025, celebrating three beloved classics that defined generations of playtime: Battleship, Trivial Pursuit, and slime.
The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, narrowed down twelve finalists to select this year’s inductees. These three toys now join an elite lineup of iconic childhood favorites honored for their creativity, popularity, and impact on play culture.
Other finalists included Connect Four, Cornhole, and—surprisingly—snow, which had many fans chuckling at the thought of Mother Nature making the list. Still, Battleship and Trivial Pursuit have stood the test of time, representing strategy and friendly competition, while slime continues to captivate kids with its endless textures and colors.
